I spent 3 nights in this charming vintage amazing 100+ year-old Hotel. Coming from a big city on the east coast I immediately felt like I was in the real Montana instead of some cookie cutter chain Hotel. What Made my stay extra special was the staff. Audrey at the front desk was so professional and recommended me places to eat. And Mitch, who I believe is the GM gave me hiking advice at Glacier and even lent me bear spray! (which fortunately I did not need to use) I would highly recommend this perfect place to stay right on Main Street walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops and ice cream parlors as well.

Had a fantastic stay at the Grand Kalispell Hotel! Even on a busy day, the customer service was top-notch. A huge shoutout to the General Manager, Mitchel, who was exceptionally warm, thoughtful, and attentive to every detail. He made sure we and the other guests were well taken care of. Highly recommend!

I’m so glad we chose to stay at the Kalispell Grand Hotel! The property is beautiful and perfectly located in the heart of Kalispell, making everything easily accessible. The customer service was excellent, staff were friendly, welcoming, and very informative throughout our stay. I felt safe and comfortable the entire time, which made the experience even better. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and overall it was a wonderful stay. I would definitely come back and recommend it to others!

First the good. Staff was excellent. Breakfast outstanding. Location good. Now the bad. If you pay $234 for a "Grand Room" it would be nice if it did not have a window air conditioner that kicked on every 15 minutes and sounded like a generator starting up. And because of the window air conditioner there were no curtains OR shades in the double window. Sunset was 9:45 and sunrise 5:30. Made for a very bright room. A mini refrigerator would have been nice. Water pressure in the shower would even had been better.

The Kalispell Grand hits that sweet spot where genuine history hasn’t been sacrificed for polish. Walking in, you feel the weight of the place—original details, a certain patina that says “we’ve been doing this for a long time.” I stayed one night and had no complaints. The staff moved with actual warmth, the kind that feels lived-in rather than scripted. Breakfast was a solid start to the day. And with the airport just twenty minutes away, the friction of arrival basically dissolves. It’s not trendy. It’s not trying to be. What you get is a charming, well-kept hotel where they’ve figured out the fundamentals and aren’t interested in faking the rest. Good value, good bones, good place to land if you’re passing through.

My sister and I stayed recently and we absolutely LOVED the hotel! Everyone was so kind, the space was beautiful, breakfast was tasty, and the cookies and popcorn at night were greatly appreciated. You can’t beat the location either! Walking distance to shopping, bars, food, etc.

Spent my final Glacier vacation night in the heart of Kalispell at this great, historic hotel. The staff were most helpful, parking was free in a lot near the front door, and you could really sense the history of it's over 100 years. They have a small self-serve breakfast in the morning and coffee...all included. The manager was so kind and helpful, and the location is perfect as you are right on the main drag on Kalispell. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Kalispell Grand! Everyone there was helpful and polite. The breakfast was wonderful - as were the freshly baked cookies and popcorn in the evening. The location was fantastic - right in downtown Kalispell with great restaurants and breweries (HIGHLY recommend Bingo Night at Bias Brewing) in esay walking distance. The rooms are definitely small - but that's to be expected in an historic hotel. The beds were very comfortable (loved the pillows). I hear they're renovating the bathrooms in the next year - which will be a big improvement.

Like other “classic” hotels, the rooms are quaint and plumbing is older. Great lobby with cookies and popcorn starting at 7 pm. Parking in convenient lot out back. Great downtown location.

Nice hotel - enjoyed our stay! I read other reviews and had some concerns about cleanliness, out-dated amenities, super-small room, etc, but I didn't see any of that. Our room (King single) was average size, bed comfortable, A/C worked - was a hot day, and bathroom fine. I really enjoyed spending time in the guest area on 1st floor. Elevator is super slow, but I prefer stairs anyway, and they were well-lit and with a wide stairway.
