The Best Western Plus Kalispell/Glacier Park West Hotel & Suites offers a generally positive experience with comfortable beds, friendly staff, and decent amenities like a pool and hot tub. However, guests have noted persistent issues related to location (proximity to a recycling center and scrap yard), inconsistent service, and some shortcomings with breakfast quality and overall cleanliness.
Excellent stay! The service was exceptional, and the staff member we met was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
The Front Desk Staff who we interacted with here on both the morning and afternoon shift were a pleasure. One gentleman was named Derek and unfortunately I have forgotten the other young man's name. Both were problem solvers who seemed happy to help their guests. Best Westerns are usually pretty nice so why is this one rated a four rather than a five. 1. Location - The windows in the breakfast room look at the local junkyard. 2. Bathroom - Small and could use an additional grab bar for safety. 3. Breakfast - The 'hot' breakfast foods are barely warm. The biscuits and gravy were particularly underheated. No breakfast potatoes were on offer. There is a nice suprise around the corner as a colony of Turtles sun bath daily on a log in a small pond. It's worth looking for this pond around the back of the property.
Great staff, average rooms, location is…. Interesting. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room is average. No complaints but nothing to write about. Located next to a recycling center and highway, it can be interesting. The one true complaint from my stay is that they closed down over HALF the parking lot without warning. Leaving people to struggle with parking.
It's located next to a loud and stinky recycling center in the industrial side of town. The hallways stink like body odor. First floor rooms are essentially in the basement with a partial view of a trailer park obstructed by weeds. Pull out beds are worn out. Breakfast options were sad. Price wasn't worth the trade offs.
This location had comfy beds, friendly staff at check in, online checkout option, breakfast included, hot water, fridge, microwave, AC, no carpet, lots of pillows, and free parking! We enjoyed our stay and will be back! The only recommendation I have would be better lighting by the mirrors.
love the staff at this location, especially, Sarah, and Meghan always treat me kindly and like family, I always stay here while on business trips, it is my second home away from home.
Overall, the visit was nice. The pool is closed but up to 7 people can fit in the hot tub. The eggs and sausage looked overcooked in a microwave. The egg whites were grey. The sausage gravy was not heated. The over food items were great.
Called hotel for information on a block rooms and when I told them we were coming to town for my daughter's wedding, I was told they don't do blocks for weddings. This was really shocking to me. My daughter is sober, and we aren't coming to town to party. We just need a place to stay after exploring Glacier National Park and attending her elopement in the park. This makes no sense to me.
This hotel was okay. The suite was nice and large and clean. Mattress was awful as were pillows. Breakfast was good. Just be aware that they built the hotel right next to a metal scrap yard.
Top notch, friendly customer service! Well appointed, clean rooms. Great pool and hot tub. Close enough to Glacier National Park to still offer convenience.
