The Hampton Inn Kalispell consistently receives positive feedback for its cleanliness, friendly staff, and convenient location. Guests appreciate the comfortable rooms, especially the recent renovations, and the included breakfast. However, some recurring concerns relate to housekeeping inconsistencies and occasional issues with certain amenities.
Stayed at the Hampton 4 nights. The location was practical, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was great. The best part was the service. The people at the front desk were helpful and kind. They went above and beyond to make our stay a home away from home. Thank you Hampton Inn!
Great place to stop for a hot dog break on a long drive. Microwave worked perfectly to fire up that dog. Comfy beds, nice people, place smells delightful. Like a fresh glizzy on a summer morning. Shower was great. I really enjoyed the chair in the room. I was able to situate it perfectly. I would appreciate if they had hot dogs to buy. Overall great stay. JOOBS APPROVES.
We’ve stayed at this hotel several times for short, one-night visits over a fairly close time frame. We originally chose it for the pool and hot tub, which is a big draw for our family. On our most recent stay, the hot tub was unfortunately not warm at all—the pool was actually warmer—which was disappointing. That said, the pool still kept the kids happy, which is ultimately what matters most for us. The rooms themselves are nice and clean, and the fireplaces give them a cozy, more “at home” feel that we really appreciate. However, housekeeping has been a bit inconsistent. On one visit, we found an opened bag of candy left in an armchair cushion, and on another, a fairly expensive bottle of men’s cologne was left behind. While not a major issue, it does raise some concerns about how thoroughly rooms are checked between guests. One design choice that hasn’t worked well for our family is the move toward modern, glass walk-in showers. Without a bathtub, it’s difficult when traveling with children. There’s no practical way to bathe a baby safely, and even winding down older kids with a bath isn’t an option. The sink is also too small to serve as an alternative, which makes this setup less family-friendly. We’ve also traveled with our dog, and while it’s great that the hotel is pet-friendly, being placed on upper floors made taking the dog out a bit of a hassle—especially at night or early in the morning. The distance to the designated pet relief area is far enough that an adult always has to go, rather than allowing an older child to help. The hotel has a conference room conveniently located across from one of the pool entrances. While this can be handy for business or group meetings, it sometimes makes for awkward interactions when encountering people leaving a meeting or church group while in a bathing suit and wet. The open dining area is a real highlight, and we’ve enjoyed hosting birthday parties there. Guests can mingle, have cake and snacks, and head to the pool. That said, it would be very helpful to have a dedicated locker room or changing area for kids, so birthday parties don’t result in 5–10 children rotating in and out of bathrooms to change before returning to the common areas. Breakfast is fairly standard, though the option of two different waffle batters is a nice touch. It would be great to see more variety beyond powdered eggs and sausage patties. Overall, the hotel still has many strengths—cozy rooms, a family-friendly pool, and flexible spaces for parties—but there are areas that could improve, particularly around amenities for families with children, changing facilities, and consistency in housekeeping.
I just stayed four nights at this hotel and I was so happy I decided to stay here again. The room looked like it had been recently redone and everything was so clean. The king size room had a walk in shower and a love seat in addition to the huge comfortable bed. The only negative was the water flow in the shower as it wasn't strong enough. The photo is of my room. The free breakfast was a good start to the day!
The staff is very friendly and helpful always smiling when you come through the door just by far one of the nicest and most pleasant places I have ever stayed
Night staff is disrespectful, slamming doors periodically throughout the night. Was accused of smoking in my room when I complained about someone smoking right outside my window. When I brought it to their attention they moved my room to the other side of the building next to the same mechanical room because the wings mirror. The door slamming didnt stop. Then I was yelled at in the lobby because I brought it to their attention that the doors were being slammed periodically throughout the night. The lady that yelled at me in the lobby also threatened to have me kicked out because I made the door slamming an issue. I don't recommend this hotel. On 3 instances I've seen and smelled the front dest clerk and maintenance guy smoking in the courtyard next to one of the employee entrances. On 2 occasions it's because they have effectively filled my room with what they are smoking.
All around just a wonderful place to stay. The breakfast is amazing, and we love that all Hilton locations are pet friendly. This part of town is quiet, there are a variety of nearby food options as well as a grocery store. Last but not least, a 24 hour hot tub and pool! Unbeatable in the local hotel selection ?????
Lovely stay with the highlight of a well maintained pool and hot tub with greenhouse type windows and many plants. Dog friendly is a great plus as well as a roomy business center for printing and internet use. The breakfast buffet is one of the best in the industry. A plethora of parking spaces. Right next to McDonald’s and Arby’s, so you can literally just relax and stay at this spot. Close to everything.
I really enjoyed my stay. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was great. If I travel to Kalispell again, I plan to stay there again. As a matter a fact my daughter lives in Kalispell and plans to come for Christmas for a few days with family. Again thank you ? diffantly will recommend Hampton Inn in Kalispell.
This Hampton Inn is top notch. Sparkling clean room, fresh bedding, soft and firm pillows, awesome black out blinds (best I've seen) night light in bathroom and new modern decor. Hilton Honors members can check in early and choose the room they want. You also get your key on your phone to go directly to your room. Breakfast was very good and all employees were very friendly. I will definitely stay here again. Loved it!
